Volunteer Pool – A Step Towards Inclusive Learning

The National Education Foundation (NEF) taking a lead as the first organization in Islamabad to establish a dedicated volunteer pool in the field of non-formal education. This unique initiative brings together  university students who devote their time, energy, and knowledge to support learners outside the traditional classroom environment.

These young volunteers play a role in teaching, mentoring, and guiding children and adults who are enrolled in NEF’s non-formal education programs. Their involvement not only enriches the learning experience of students but also nurtures a spirit of service, leadership, and community responsibility among the volunteers themselves.

By bridging the gap between higher education and grassroots learning, NEF’s Volunteer Pool creates a sustainable model of collaboration where knowledge flows both ways: volunteers gain practical exposure and empathy, while learners receive personalized support and encouragement.

This initiative reflects NEF’s vision of “Education for All” – ensuring that every learner, regardless of their background, has access to quality learning opportunities with the support of dedicated volunteers committed to making a difference.
