NEF CONDUCTED AN ORIENTATION PROGRAM FOR NEWLY APPOINTED NEF TEACHERS
The National Education Foundation successfully conducted an Orientation Program for its newly selected teachers, equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and professional values required to excel in Non-Formal Education (NFE). Conducted over two days to accommodate all participants, the program ensured that every teacher across both groups received the same comprehensive training and guidance before beginning their journey in NFE. The orientation covered key areas including administrative procedures, school management, community engagement, classroom management, multi-grade teaching methodologies, effective use of teaching and learning materials, and professional ethics. Through interactive sessions, pre- and post-assessments, and collaborative discussions, participants gained practical insights to strengthen their teaching practices and contribute to creating inclusive, learner-centered classrooms.
