A LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING (LOU) SIGNING CEROMONY BETWEEN NATIONAL EDUCATION FOUNDATION AND FAST-NUCES

The National Education Foundation (NEF) has formalised a Letter of Understanding (LoU) with FAST-NUCES, creating a structured pathway for student internships, volunteering, knowledge exchange, and greater engagement in NEF's education initiatives.

Over the past two years, NEF has worked with 150+ young people from universities across Islamabad, building a growing community of volunteers and interns who have contributed their time, skills, and energy to education and community development. Their involvement has gone beyond classroom support, spanning peer mentorship, field engagement, digital campaigns, research, content development, data digitisation, and strengthening NEF's internal data systems. What began as a volunteer network has evolved into a meaningful space where young people can engage with social impact and experience community realities beyond the classroom.

The LoU was signed between Ms. Tahira Sheikh, Managing Director, National Education Foundation, and Mr. Waseem Shahzad, Campus Director, FAST-NUCES Islamabad Campus, marking a step forward in NEF's investment in young people and its belief that they can be part of creating change today.
