Khawajasara Learning Center

Every great endeavor has a story—and this initiative is no exception. Launched in June 2023, the Khwajasara Learning Center was established with a vision to uplift one of Pakistan’s most marginalized and historically excluded communities. Grounded in dignity and inclusion, the project adopts a holistic, community driven approach aimed at long-term empowerment and meaningful reintegration into society.

Core Components

Accelerated Basic Education
Providing functional literacy and numeracy to bridge foundational educational gaps.

Skills Training
Offering vocational training—such as stitching—to promote self-reliance and enhance employment opportunities.

Community Engagement & Advocacy
Conducting awareness sessions on health, drug use, and human rights to challenge stigma and foster social inclusion.

Key Features

1. A monthly stipend of PKR 10,000, subject to 75% attendance, supports financial stability and encourages regular participation.

2. Located in Bari Imam, Islamabad, the center currently supports 25 learners.

3. In house Stitching workshop established to support skill development and microenterprise.

4. Two learners have successfully launched small businesses with the help of seed funding provided through the program.

This initiative goes beyond education—it restores dignity, nurtures self-worth, and opens doors to economic opportunity and social inclusion for a long-neglected community.
